Your answers to the test are personal. Here is plainly what we keep, why we keep it, and how you get rid of it.

Last updated 22 October 2026.

Your test answers

When you take the test, we store every answer you give, together with your result. We keep them for two reasons: to work out and show you your type, and to let you come back to your result later. We also record which version of the test you took, so an old result never changes when the test is updated.

If you take the test without an account, your answers are linked only to a random code held in your browser's session, not to your name or email. If you then create an account or sign in from the same browser, that test is saved to your account.

Your answers and results are never sold or shared with anyone: no advertisers, no data brokers, no "partners".

Your account

If you create an account we store your email address, the name you give us, and your password in hashed form (we cannot read it). We use your email to confirm your address, reset your password and, only if you ask for them, send the emails you sign up for.

To protect accounts from password guessing, we record failed sign-in attempts: the email address that was tried and the IP address it came from.

Messages you send us

If you use the contact form, your name, email and message are emailed to us so we can reply. We do not add you to any list.

Cookies and analytics

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, hold your place in the test and keep forms secure, plus a cookie that remembers your cookie choice. There is no advertising or third-party tracking, and no analytics today. See the cookie policy.

Like every website, our web server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.

Delete everything, or take a copy

Signed in, go to your account. There you can:

• Download your data: your profile and each test you have taken, with your answers and your type.
• Delete your account: this permanently deletes your account, every test answer and every result attached to it. It cannot be undone.

Answers from a test taken without an account are deleted automatically after 30 days unless you create an account; to remove them sooner, clear your cookies and write to us.
